He used to play LIKE Alister, changed, and seeming to head back that direction!

... Except that unlike Alister every profession he has ever played has suddenly become overpowered?

Are you saying that?

Salvador is a top fighter in Avalon, and I won't take anything away from him, no matter what class he played.

BUT

You should see the new true mystic abilities... Maybe once people find out the defences (if any) things will change, until then, JEEBUS!!!!

Defences to what exactly? Defences does not equal a sudden ability to cure and heal without triggers, where none existed before.

More the whining comes from the fact people are dying to very simple means that they have more than enough opportunity, and method, to prevent and cure, and True Mysticism is simply an easy way to excuse away dying to these things.

Look at Dunccan - he complains to no end about one of our abilities to get safe, and yet fails to account that he is dying to stabs, curses, and clever illusion manipulation.

IF he were dying to me because I was using that ability to get safe to make my way up to a burnable wax, I might see an argument. As it stands, I am not doing that in the slightest, and the whining about skills is unfounded.

Cordon and Esprii were chaining that winds thing on me, so I was pretty much dying nonstop. I know how to fight Seers who actually try to fight. With globestaves and this phased attack, newp, dunno and don't want to bother sticking around to know how to stop it. It's fucking absurd.

And no, I wasn't getting DP. Some divine set the emerald power on me during the gemquest (Aldaron does this every now and then to me) and didn't remove it, so I was rezzing  without ever getting DP.

@ rajj - Dunccan was the one who stripped me.

@everyone - Salvador isn't Alister. Rynn, you're a nutcase, go away. Besides, both of them have my back. Salvy treated me nice, even when I was shouting at him, "BITCH GET ME A KNIFE" (yes, I didn't even have a knife, that much shit had decayed).

I've seen em. I'm talking about his history. He was a Sorc, and suddenly Sorcs were OP, he was a bard, and then bards were OP, now he's a Seer, and seers are OP. Somehow, the only common denominator I see is Salvador. And just so you know, most of the TM stuff is broken, or was a few weeks ago. Just felt you should know that.

Sorcerer skills have not changed in nearly ten years, aside from a few small additions here and there. Good Bards are always nearly impossible to kill because there are very rarely ANY good bards... and Seers, well Seers now have two completely different skillsets for everyone to figure out. There's no denominator to figure out. Genesis said specialisations will be tweaked accordingly, so expect some changes after the divine conflict is switched on.

Must I constantly remind you people that I am NOT every seer in Avalon, nor am I the only seer in avalon?

Maybe I'm slipping, but all I recall doing to you, Narissa, is blowing up a few binding traps. You asked me to knock it off, gave a reason I could even relate to, so I let it be and threw a few tempests at Salvador instead.

If indeed you were 'constantly dying' I must have already left by this point. I sure didn't notice it.

That being said, yeah. I know. I logged on for a few minutes every couple of months to keep my inventory intact and what do you know - barely had time to check the who list before someone felt like being clever.

Apparently after two years "You had a wax on me" doesn't lose any potencyworth as an excuse.

It must have been another seer who continued the work, then, as I was being tempested to death (I don't even know who this is that I'm replying to). The trouble is, however, the new skills don't give any indication towards who is doing them. I'm sure you can see how the blame permeates without any way to determine who the attacker/s is/are.
