Hey, I didn't know exactly where to post this (I couldn't find a 'new members' thread), but I finally gathered the guts to post my "hello" here.  I'm a new player, and I just want to say that Avalon is pretty darn cool, and I look forward to meeting you all in my adventures!

Welcome to Avalon(even though I'm dormant), and to the forums. There are plenty of helpful sections in which to learn from here, and joke around in. Same for people in Avalon I'm sure. The only stupid question is the one left unasked.
