Hello! Few people really know whether I’m male or female, and often times I’ll tell people what they want to believe just so they’ll leave me alone. In either case, I’m a private person, and I firmly believe that OOC info tends to color how people perceive you in land, which is why I refuse to confirm in a definite sense what sex I actually am. I will say this, though. I have played both male and female characters in Avalon, and I have been convincing in both roles.
There are several concrete things I’m perfectly comfortable with sharing, however. I’m from southern California, in a town 50 minutes north of Los Angeles. I’m married, which is why I divert any attempts to flirt with me; it’s just one of those things that is both true RL and in Avalon. I’m visually impaired, which I’ve also shared with people before, as there have been an insane number of questions as to why I don’t fight. I’m twenty-six years old, and have a degree in English Literature; I would like to note that it’s a degree in English lit, not spelling or grammar. *wink*
Some of that info does color your opinions, for sure, but they are things--being married and visually impaired--that directly effect my gameplay, anyway, so it's harmless info to divulge.
Other than that, I don’t have much else to share.
