News of the lands?

It has now been quite a few Avalon years since Algernon's death (in the land, that is), and his companion would be most grateful, for he still feels affection for the land and all its feisty people, for any recent headlines.  Who rules Thakria?  Was India murdered in a coup?  How goes for my old friends Jalice, Jashiri, Isiltari, Narissa, August, Neidhart, Lightfingers, and the dark-fated Furion?  Any new killing sprees by Vaska?  New contenders for Olympus?  Any new changes to the land, like having to poop once an Avalon day?

Well, Furion has the left the land for the time being, so I'm not too sure about any recent stuff. I'll likely stay away until I can find a reason to get excited by Avalon again (or I get really, really bored).

Also, Genesis is in fetalcrackmode atm, so everything's stuck in a crappy (warfareless) limbo. Rather dull and quiet.

No, but the coming divine conflict seems to have made gods more active, as well as their devout followers. The battle for statues/divine influence will create some interesting alliances and rivalries.

The patrons of cities: Thakria (Loki), Mercinae (Proteus), Parrius (Tyrannis) and Springdale (Castigere). Castigere is not active though.

The active gods that I've seen regularly: Xanthe, Nostradamus, Cornelius, Mephisto, Aethon, Aldaron, Telemachus (from FA), Thanatos (from FA), Rhadamanthys, and Brigantia. And of course, Genesis who has all the time in the world...

Is this the place to ask how  the merger worked?  Is FA gone?  Did everyone there have to merge with Legends?  If you log in to FA, is it its own world, or is it the same world now?

Hello there,

Reviving this old topic with a question.

I am considering a return to LEGENDS, but not as my old character.  Am wondering what it's like these days.  I've played FA on and off since I killed Algernon, so it won't be totally noobville for me but the worlds are very different, I know.  Any reflections are welcome.

In particular, reflections on things like: is the economy really complicated? is the player base too crowded or just right?  how are the mage and enchanter guilds doing?  I've checked in here regularly so I know Springdale is gone.  How about the gods?  Good, active gods?  Really, anything you think is pertinent would be of interest to me.
