I went to Equador through International Student Volunteers. For the first two weeks, we were split up into different conservation projects. I worked with five other girls on an organic dairy farm and reforestation project in the cloud forests. The farm was called Bomboli. We milked cows, replanted plants, made cheese and other foods, planted living fences, and taught English to the local schoolchildren.

The next two weeks we went on an adventure tour, meeting up into a group of twenty-two perticipants and two adventure guides. We mountain biked, cliff climbed, shopped, partied, glacier climbed, white-water rafted, canoed, hiked through the rain-forest, surfed, whale watched, repelled down water falls, and puented (bungie jumping with swinging involved.) I feel like I'm leaving activities out, but I can't remember what else we did.

Fourteen of us then went to the Galapagos. We enjoyed the beaches, snorkled, saw many animals, and checked out caves that pirates and whalers hid out in and carved into the rock.

I have many more pictures and videos on my facebook if you want to see them.
