I forgot to start logging this until about midway through. Essentially Furion attacked and trapped Octafino in a Dark cellar requesting a chat after attacking and causing several ailments to Octafino. He starts out asking what Octafino's aim in the world is. Here is the second half of that conversation:
Fallen Furion prods you.
You say, "Yes?".
Fallen Furion says, "Do you believe you understand my tale?".
"You/Octafino" raises an arm and begins to twirl some hair, "You were
consorting with the 'enemy' and as a result you were turned on." Yawns and
Returns to the strands of hair, twirling them into a knot and then frowns.
Fallen Furion says, "Consorting with the enemy?".
Fallen Furion says, "I was learning how to defend myself and my own".
Fallen Furion says, "So I could fight for the 'Light' ".
You say, "To them one and the same is it not?".
You say, "Keep in mind I said to THEM".
Fallen Furion says, "Aye, yet you still wish to be a part of that pathetic
city? Knowing that they turn on their own without listening the reasoning
behind actions?".
You say, "If they throw me out then it will be their loss.....though, I do not think this
will happen".
Fallen Furion says, "Aye, it probably won't, but I don't see how you could be
a part of that city, KNOWING that they are tainted by such hypocrisy".
Fallen Furion says, "Not when you yourself, seem so... Understanding".
"You/Octafino" shrugs "more reason for me to stay, I can't fully neglect such
a festering sore of a problem'
.Fallen Furion says, "Tell me, do you really feel at home there?".
"You/Octafino" grinning, begins to wipe the blood off of a weakening hand on a dress and says " I
do. Think of me as the leach that thrives in and cleans such a sore.".
Fallen Furion says, "What about Mercinae makes you feel at home?".
You say, "I have friends that I have made, those who share my same thoughts
that don't seem to have the...how should I say it...same fearlessness?".
Fallen Furion says, "You can find friends and comrades no matter where you
reside. That is an empty reason".
Fallen Furion says, "To REALLY love you city, and to thrive in it".
Your rune-bug picks up words; Fallen Furion says, "To REALLY love you city,
and to thrive in it".
Fallen Furion says, "You must believe in the ideals".
You say, "I don't believe I would ever believe in any city's ideals fully,
eventually I will probably choose to not live in a city".
Fallen Furion says, "Oh?".
Fallen Furion says, "Why not now?".
Your rune-bug picks up words; Fallen Furion says, "Why not now?"
Fallen Furion says, "Before you become mired down with responsibilities?".
Fallen Furion, the Forsaken considers you carefully.
You say, "I don't mind the responsibilities ".
Fallen Furion says, "But you will still leave them behind?".
Fallen Furion says, "Once you have deemed it fit?".
You say, "Eventually my place will be in no city, I know this and I will have
no problem walking away from them".
Fallen Furion says, "Do your fellow citizens know that you intend to abandon
them?".
You say, "I will not be abandoning them, and this is not to happen for some
time".
Fallen Furion shrugs his shoulders casually.
Fallen Furion says, "Very well".
You say, "A bard's place is wondering and performing, they can hardly be
content in one city".
You say, "I should say a performing bard".
Fallen Furion grins at you in an amiable manner.
Fallen Furion says, "Aye, fair enough".
You say, "And I suppose we have come full circle".
You grin at Fallen Furion in an amiable manner.
Fallen Furion looks at you, eyes hard. "Now. There is one more thing I wish to
ask you".
You nod your head emphatically.
Fallen Furion says, "Do they tell stories about me to their young in Mercinae?
Tell them how evil I am? Tell them not to speak to me?".
Fallen Furion chuckles long and heartily.
"You/Octafino" with rolling eyes sighs "Furion, the only time you are brought
up is when you attack me or perhaps someone smaller from our city".
Fallen Furion says, "And what is said then?".
You say, "But perhaps there should be tales of you".
Fallen Furion says, "And come Octafino, I'm not that much bigger than you".
You say, "It is said that you left the city and that you like to kill those smaller than
you, though really I think you enjoy killing in general".
You say, "I agree, you are not much older than I, just more focused in other pass times".
Fallen Furion says, "I enjoy killing. I prefer killing those larger than me".
Fallen Furion says, "I don't enjoy killing when there is no challenge".
You say, "We are about the same age, and you have killed many larger than you
I have seen it".
You nod your head emphatically.
Fallen Furion says, "Yet, I still do it".
Fallen Furion says, "Because it needs to be done".
You say, "I agree, it does need to be done, my city-mates tend not to
understand that".
Fallen Furion says, "Aye".
Fallen Furion says, "I have noted".
Fallen Furion says, "Well, thank you for your company my young friend".
Your rune-bug picks up words; Fallen Furion says, "Well, thank you for your
company my young friend".
Fallen Furion says, "And fair well".
To your horror you find that the slime demon rises up and envelops you.
(omitted Furion kills me twice)
Tazlilly tells you, "You alrighta?".
.
Fallen Furion says, "Always a pleasure".
A portal of seven spirits created by Tazlilly forms before you, begging you to
enter and escape.
Fallen Furion blinks.
Fallen Furion climbs into the inky darkness of the portal, which envelops him
utterly.
Fallen Furion has just departed.
You enter the portal, which seems to vaporise behind you as you pass through
its enchanted gateway.
Buck Nekkid Aja, Greenwood Godiva considers you carefully.
You feel your mana draining away, such is the effort to keep your corpse from
decay.
Tazlilly invokes spirits of fire, light, earth, darkness, air, forest and
water.
Tazlilly blinks.
You tell Fallen Furion, "Well you know, one can only take so many kills".
You say, "Thanks Taz".
-
Tazlilly touches your forehead and diagnoses your ailments.
Tazlilly says, "No problem".
You say, "He was just having a friendly chat before killing me, it's ok
though".
Tazlilly says, "Why did he kill you?".
You say, "Because it has to be done, he has to kill me because it's what he
does".
Tazlilly says, "That doesn't make sense to me".
You say, "And I will sing of these tales, I have to be killed so I have
something to sing about".
.
Tazlilly says, "Well, I don't like it".
Tazlilly says, "And make sure you spell my name right in your song".
Tazlilly rolls about on the floor laughing.
Tazlilly giggles happily.
Your face breaks into an amiable grin.
You say, "You will be in it don't worry".
The ship of the Sun carries her brightening visage above the land.
Tazlilly says, "And tell of my beauty".
Tazlilly giggles happily.
Tazlilly poses regally before you.
Tazlilly pokes out her tongue and licks her lips.
You say, "Oh there will be a song just for all the Merc beauts".
You wink knowingly.
You say, "Don't you worry".
Tazlilly grins in an amiable manner.
