Kresslack
« on: May 22, 2008, 08:36:37 PM »
I've been noted to be mischievious, good humoured, rowdy, obnoxious, slightly reckless, and brave. I try to be neutral in most things, though there are a few things I am very passionate about, one being fighting, and another being my Order.  All comments and questions welcome.

and passionate about that blasted whip of yours!
Some people are like Slinkies. They have no practical use whatsoever, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Kresslack is a really funny guy! He's really sweet, a shameless flirt, and very involved in anything he chooses to do. He's always there if you need something, though he cannot promise he'll be sober!

I cannot think of any dislikes, though maybe he could try cutting back on the drinking a bit? *Grin*

P.S. What's this about a whip?

RL-gernon feels quite affectionately about Kresslack.  Kresslack wants to be a powerful being in the world of Avalon and leave his mark - not a bad ambition to have.  When Kresslack moved to Thakria and became a sorcerer, Mage-rnon didn't know what to think except that he thought, perhaps, that as a sorcerer he would be powerful.

I'm happy to see him back in Parrius surrounded by older people who can shepherd him and help him achieve what he wants, or something like it...

Hmm, very split on this character. Narissa's view and my own are pretty much the same - he can be amusing, fun and rather endearing, but he can also be annoying as all hell. He's one of those really determined people who will try their best at everything, really throwing themselves into the task - but he doesn't seem to have a good sense of self assessment, which can be very frustrating.

Example? When he was Thakrian, he was determined to be a good sorcerer and citizen, and wanted to help all his citymates. Unfortunately, he tried to do this by helping with combat information, most of which was half-understood or confused. Also, a hint - evil Princesses don't like being given fight advice by newbies. :P

I don't think he strives for that tone, but he does end up coming off as patronizing at times, so definitely something to work on, since OOC I believe it's just him earnestly trying hard to be the best he can be. I feel a bit guilty at having kicked him out of the city, given that all the people who objected to him are MIA or have new cities, but he seems to be doing very well as a warrior - to be honest, it seems a much more fitting role for him. He has a rather endearing mix of half-confusion (I mean this in a good way, he's not clueless so much as always trying to find new stuff and mixing up all the information), pride and stubbornness that really suits the knight profession well.

Oh Kresslack....Kresslack. Hmm....well I have very mixed feelings on Kresslack. I admire his ambition to defend his ideals and what he holds as truth. Kresslack has a bit of a strong tendency to flirt which can be charming at times but over the top other times. I shake my head at times in disappointment when he flies off the handle and spouts off words with only occasionally backing them up. However, I also sit amazed when he reigns in his frustration and anger and becomes extremely focused and I start to see the man I know Kresslack can be rather than the boy that can throw temper tantrums. Kresslack has the potential to be a great warrior in the land. I'd like to see him continue along the path of honor, heroism and a strong liking for the rum! *lol

Oh Kresslack What to say about you. I remember you a whee lad when me and your mother took you in and adopted you. I remember alot of your ups and downs, and found you hilarious when you'd scream vengeance and attack people bigger than you, and even win alot of times. Your a good son and always someone good to be around
What if i fell to the floor? just couldn't take it anymore. what would you do?
