Always used to know you as the guy who doffed his hat before or after killing me.  "By their kills shall ye know them."  Then there was a very interesting RP moment when Salvador (still at the height of his powers as a sorcerer) took me out drinking in Parrius and spoke of how boring life is without interesting rivals.

Salvador. One of my favorite Avalonian people. He can always make me laugh, and he endures my grumpiness far more than is necessary. I am his Judy Garland, and he is my Tin Man!

I'm bummed that he went Bard, even though the skillset seems to be treating him well. The roleplay isn't really his style (no offense, but you're the type that only sings when it's drunken karaoke...). I think this change, as well as other, subtle things I've observed about him, reveal a more dangerous side to his personality, which might one day alienate (or at least frustrate) his friends: Salvador is the type who is drawn to power. While not a bad thing, it can be irksome at times, as he tends to minorly idolize any who have power, simply because they are powerful. Eg, gods, top fighters, etc. It would be interesting to see this played out by a divine, latching onto that minor character flaw and twisting a bit.

In any case, though, I think he's a very enjoyable character. He's intelligent, has a wry wit, and picks up quickly on things - a far cry from the little newbie seer he started as. A very impressive growth, and I'm glad to see that he's endured, not only to advance in politics but to ascend as one of the top fighters. I'd be happy with a bit more RP (especially in decision-making - he has no sense of "events", eg could have made a nice little tableau out of you quitting Thakria), but what you have is really solid. Nicely done.

So that's why he idolizes me huh? Makes sense after all!  ;)

Seriously though, I have to agree with Narissa about being bummed in his switch to the Bardic profession, he was much more... fun as a Sorcerer, but I don't think any of us have seen really what the Bards will do for him yet.

In regards to his personality, it's definitely a unique one that can build strong and solid friendships. Not without a little competition in-between friends of course, but that just makes things more exciting!

Ester has a a huge crush on Salvador.  You know, I just noticed this thread is very hard to work in - IE. you're trying to give your characters impression, without throwing too much personalness into it.
Anyway,

Salvador,  is both charming with a dark element that's quite frankly a bit sexy.  He can be a bit moody, but that's ok for the character portrayed.  I don't know about the bard switch, being but newly around to see it.  It'll be interesting to see how things play out with that.

Ah, Salvador, where to start???  ;D

I love Salvy, and will always remember after Ordination when everyone was sitting around in Mercinae being bummed and he sent me a tell "you did really well today" or something along those line. That was back in the days when I was like "SHIT!! SALVADOR IS ON!! HE'S GOING TO KILL US ALL!!!" Hah. I grew up in awe of him, listening to stories of how he slaughtered everyone in Mercinae etc. and hearing that come from him was really, the highlight of Furion's youth.

Then when he went Seer, and started killing Furion, I started to get annoyed at him, but then randomly one day, he told me what I did wrong, and what I should do next time, without me asking him to. From then on, probably about once a day, he would kill me and give me advice on how to improve, and to be honest, this treatment, and my challenge with Narissa (hahaha at all the tells saying "shit, what did YOU do wrong?") were really what made me decide when I left Mercinae that I wanted to go to Thakria.

Salvador was always really decent to me, and I was really bummed out about him leaving, but it's great when he gives me a snog whenever we see eachother.  :-* LOL

If I had to pick one thing I didn't like about Salvy (this is really hard hey, I'm honestly nit-picking here) it's that he horns certain people who I attack  ;D
I fight because last time, I failed. I fight because I want to fix what I did wrong. I want to do it right this time.

Salvador is another among the small group of lifelong mentors i've had. He's taught me a lot of trick and trades since I've been in Avalon. A strong fighter no matter what profession he's in, he's also one of the few who have taught me alot about fighting and Vengeance. I've always looked up to Salvador for his strength and strong will, and have tried a bit to follow his teachings and learn from him as much as I can.

Salvador is hands down one of my absolute favourite people in Avalon.

As many have said before, our relationship between Animist and Sorc was a bit strange at best, but Sal has been one who Katie can count on again and again. The whole... necrobait situation was most interesting, but in the end I think the incident actually brought us closer together. Nothing like a few ship rides between friends.

Sal has proven himself time and again to be a dedicated citizen, regardless of where and able to grasp and master his chosen guild at the time with a finesse few have. He also always has time to help out a friend, look out for a little one, or hop to a tavern for a little session of "Good ol' days."

Durring my recent return to avalon from my little self imposed hiatus, Salvy has been at my side, watching me struggle through finding my roots again and helping me every step of the way. He managed to keep me from throwing in the towel during the first difficult days and has rushed to my aid time and again over the last few weeks.

Sal has defiantly changed the face of Avalon for the better, and will continue to do so for a long time to come.

Oh for heavens sakes Salvador! *shudder. Even though a city mate now and almost 'friends' I still see or hear that name and shudder. He was the one character who got under my skin more than any other character! I NEVER knew how to take him! Some of the things I wanted to say to him would have been equivalent to Rynn and Rakira's debate back and forth! I think he was one of the few people who got to see the not so nice side of Jalice. Although I think he enjoyed the fact of pushing her buttons which angered me all the more! *LOL. Salvador for me was very bipolar. One minute seeming to want to befriend me and the next day killing me 5 times. I remember one day he would feel bad for bordering on sadism and then the next kill me 5 more times all the same! bah! Jalice and Salvador had friends in common so slowly but surely I got to see a different side of him. The 'doff the hat', smile, say "Hi Jalice!' (which come to think of it back then irritated me as well!). Interacting with RL Salv was a whole other story. I love the guy! You gave great tips on fighting and willing to share the tips. Salv the character has a demented sort of charm about him. Sort of like fatal attraction with one minute being very charming then the next minute cursing the heck out of you or slicing you open with his demons. One thing I admired about Salv, and still do, is that he never had to depend on his skill set to win fights. He is one of the only characters I have grown up with that can change professions and be a top fighter in ALL of those professions. There is much to be said about that! So do I love him or hate him? Heck I have no idea! I hate to love him but love to hate him I guess! *rofl

MINE. So glad to have him back in Thakria. I'm also very impressed with his new outlook -  interactions have deepened into a very rich portrayal of an intelligently conceived, complex character. Humour, power and regret mingle rather intriguingly.

His combat continues to advance, albeit he's now at the honing stage, so it's a slower, more frustrating process. I adore how he's so eager to experiment and play with skills, a true sign that he belongs at CS if there ever was one.

All in all, he and I have had our spats and oppositions, but through it all he remains one of my favorite Avalonians, full stop.
