Having seen both sides of the fence with Narissa, being both her friend and ally, and also occasional enemy, irrespective of these she is one of my most favourite Avalon people. From my LW seer days she has always been at my side acting as mentor and provider of knowledge on various different things, and every stage of Salvador's life has in some way seen her influence, almost exclusively for the better. As a thief she is second to none, she has a nuance with the skills that is really quite amazing to see. As a guildmistress she appears to me to lead firmly but fairly and I think this is why so many of Avalon's young are so drawn to her, and her role; she IS a thief, and she most certainly is the leader of Thakria, and she lives and breathes this in all that she does.

Personally, I don't think Icould be anywhere near where I am now without some of the help she's given me, and returning to Thakria, and most especially rekindling my friendship with her, has cast that in stone for me. There truly is no one like her, and I'm proud to call her my citymate, my ally, and above all, my closest friend.

Might as well bump this. Lots of new faces about, and Narissa's taken on a much more hands-off admin role lately (including a short break from Princess!).

Ahhhh Nari. Where to begin?

Narissa is probably the reason I started playing this game past novicehood. Being inguilded to the thieves (which had about 3 active members at the time) was one of the defining moments of my avalon 'career'. Always looked up to her as somewhat of a role-model in game and still do. Taught me everything I know about fighting, then taught me how to fight as part of a team. Then taught me warfare. Then taught me how to be a baron. etc etc, I could go on and on.

I will admit I liked her a bit better when she was a bit of an outcast in Thakria, before she entered the all-mighty-high-ruler of everything that there was phase (princess/GM/high priest of Vengeance when it was the only order that mattered.)

Seen her take Thakria from a fourth-rate nothing place with no chance of survival to the best city of the land... more than once. Things seem to work for Thakria when she's around and she really inspires people to play and contribute as much as they can.

I admire her roleplay efforts and the length she goes to to involve brand new characters and introduce them to the spectrum of 'evil'. I'm probably alone here though in saying that something is lost when she isn't playing quite the balls-to-the-wall kill everything role as much as she used to. Though seems like there isn't much room for those types these days...

My cue to shower more praise!

After having been prince for 2 months, I have to say I can now really appreciate everything Narissa has on her plate. It never really hit me until I experienced it first hand, just how much work it takes to do just one of the many balls she's juggling at once.

I think like me the absence of warfare and encouragement of protections and 'coddling' as she calls it, has waned her interest for the moment, but with warfare within earshot here's hoping Princess of Miracles puts in more of an appearance.

Mwar, much <3 babe.

An inspirational leader. I can't help feel but motivated when she is logged on, and I know others feel the same, Thakrian or not. A B-E-A-S-T of a fighter...absolutely unbelievable the times I've seen her.

I know the path to greatness will go through the likes of Narissa, but damn, I have no idea how I'll walk that.

I have seen many Thakrian leaders...Pana, Arthor, Threap, Babidi...she not only ranks up there with the greatest in terms of fighting, but her ability to inspire is unlike I've seen from the above mentioned. She runs the best damn thak website I've seen, and I'm a better player/fighter because of it.

Touche princess, hopefully, I'll see you around more and looking forward to spill more merctowner blood with you..

One word - ROLEPLAY.

You are by far one of the best RP'ers I've ever known.  My contact with Narissa was generally quite limited.  The times we did have contact, she was generally ordering someone to kill me for spilling blood on her shoes (deadly but fun) or she was around Mercinae (probably pilfering off us).  I can say there were times that she would offer to spar with people just to "teach" something but I could never figure out if she was doing it to really teach or just to show off her prowess (I personally hope it's the later as I think of Nari as someone you just don't screw around with).

All in all, one of my favorite people in Avalon and I think Thakria will suffer some without your normal presence in the lands.

Btw, you aren't a real Thakrian unless you've been kicked out of Thakria multiple times IMO

Remember kids, Narissa is a reformed addict. She's been in Avalon for 12104 hours. That works out to roughly 504 whole days, or about a year and twenty-one weeks.
Some people are like Slinkies. They have no practical use whatsoever, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

God, is that really my login amount? To be fair, I was a total bb-idler when if I slept.

I don't think being in the BB accumulates that time though =P. 12104 is a lot of hours! For some trivia, that ranks you as the 17th most played character, and by comparison, I'm at 65th place with 6383 hours, and Elmak is at 21st place with 10407.

Scary, innit?
