Following in the vein of great bb posts, logkeeping, and a general sentiment of days gone by, I ask you all; Of all those people fallen off the side of the world, who would you like to see in Avalon again?

I'd put Inshallah high on my list. She was fecking crazy.

Remove the monthly fee and replace it with a pay-by-the-hour payment plan.

Split the thieves guild into three guilds.

Orthwein, Nostradamus and Damocles back in the land.

Remove immunities and bumba.

  • Remove the Sapience Dragon nonsense.
  • Remove the Divine Globes.
  • Bring back Ender and Threap.
  • Nostradamus, Maedhros, and Damocles back too.
  • Get rid of the Druids Guild

Last time i was on, I had to type 7 lists to find some suitable victim to try some thievery tricks on:
who
  - lw
  - protected
  - gmw
  - cit
  - ddw
  - pw
= me myself and i (or not even cause i am on cit and gmw)

I suggested to Gen that he should provide us with a list that combines all the above but he wasnt charmed...

This is one of the reasons I unsubbed. Maybe we should all migrate back to Firstage?

Getting back to people we miss...

Danton tops my list.  He was my contemporary (and I've been around less than one year.)  He's a good fellow RL, and I sorely miss his presence in Avalon.  A true gentleman knight, first of Mercinae and later of Parrius, with a scholarly bent, a love for puns, and a seething hatred of bullies.

I miss Lucifer. What ever happened to that guy? Don't tell me he was an FA dude, too.

I also miss being able to far command other people's steeds to march. That -always- made for a fun watch.

I have an exceptionally long list of people I missed from my days of playing Avalon.

It would begin with Magellan, the second incarnation of Castigere, Saphir, Warfarin, Volpone, Boon, Buttons, Arcane, Sautoir, Flagg, Jasteron, Jebaman, Sirrus, Gandalf, Hellchaser and many more. These guys nearly all stopped playing while I was still active and Avalon became a much poorer place.

Kes was an absolute nutcase and as a young Mercinean a total hero. One of the few people who could use more profanity than me.

I still think of Adam now and then who sadly died in RL at a ridiculously young age. He was brilliantly funny and we frequently ended up crying with laughter in Hellespont Square mocking some poor Springdalian.

The other I still miss is Astra who almost no one remembers. She was the first person to give me a steed and was sexy, funny and brilliant at teaching newbies.

I would have to say Krill, I've only meet him a couple of times, but from what I've seen he's a great guy and an awesome warrior.
